Pardon the pun, but as we collect more and more information I am left here to wonder this seemingly simple question: Why a lawn?
Pesticide ridden,
useless,
perfection.
The idea,
white picket fences,
perfection.
Every thing in its place,
an empty green space,
perfection?
How can something so useless carry this much meaning?
Since when has society decided this was the way to be?
Lawns, lawns, lawns.
Not food,
no production.
Food security in question,
but no one seems to question it.
It is time to question,
time to stand,
to do something.
Start a garden in your house,
on your windowsill,
on your balcony,
even where your lawn use to be.
